Shane Cup Trial 13th March 2010

The Club are pleased to announce a rerun date of 13th March for their Shane Cup, Irish Championship Trial. Our thanks must go to the Forestry Service for their co-operation in granting us a new date. All those who have already entered for the 27th February date will have their entries carried forward to the new date. For those who have not yet entered please click on the links below for entry forms and regulations. 

The Off Road section of the Mid Antrim Motorcycle Club are pleased to announce details of their first event of 2010, the Shane Cup Trial. The ever popular event is again this year is a counting round of the Irish Trials Championship and indeed the first round of our Michelin Tyres sponsored Club Championship. The event will take place in Parkmore forest in Glenariff, the Queen of the Glens.

This trial is ever popular with competitors who are drawn to the event by the challenge of the river sections and the enjoyment of a day out in great surroundings. All Adult Grades will be catered for as will Youth A&B Grades. The Clerk of Course and his team aim to provide each grade with the level of section which each grade dictates and our ultimate aim is to ensure that all competitors and spectators go home happy, if not a little tired!!

There is ample parking in the forest park for all competitors and spectators.

At this time we should express our thanks to the Forestry Service for this use of this fine venue as we as a club look upon it as one of our traditional trials.

It should also be stressed at this time that any competitor wishing to take part in the Club Championship (and lets face it, it's worthwhile to try and get some great prizemoney) should download a membership form from the club membership page and bring it with them on the day. Not only are you geting your chance in the championship but you sare also supporting the Club and ensuring it's future as a promoting organisation.

Prize announcements and Youth Awards will be given out along with a bit of banter in The Glensway Tavern, Martinstown after the event.
